At the Foundation, we believe that family is the corner stone of a prosperous society. To foster the well-being of all members of family, the Foundation is providing English classes to strengthen fluency in speaking English.
The Program aims to provide the participants with the listening and speaking skills that are needed to communicate effectively in English in day-to-day life. It seeks to contribute to the well-being of the whole family, and in turn to promote a culture of cohesiveness and the creation of environments for peaceful coexistence in community and society.
How support is provided
Facilitated as workshops and with the help of trained facilitators, each week, adult learners will be supported to discuss topics important to them. These may also include themes relevant to daily life, such as shopping, transportation, telecommunication, parenthood, extended family, work and employment, banking, education, mental and physical health.
Educational support for parents of students in the Program
The program is aimed at any adult learner, but parents of students in the tutorial program may wish to register for the Foundations' Speaking English Program. This effort is focused on supporting adult learners to be proficient in the use of English language in addressing their day-to-day responsibilities.
